When these kids start tutoring, they are full of self-doubt and worry that they’re not good enough to even try and learn. They often put forth minimal effort, because they fear failure. Their first tutoring sessions provide a safe place to experience their fear and dread of failure, but with each win, it also allows them the opportunity to experience what it feels like to overcome and excel at the very thing they were afraid of! When they’re able to succeed in learning, especially when they've struggled before, they develop confidence in themselves and take joy in learning.

Educational support that meets students where they are and presents attainable goals, rebuilds confidence and sets the groundwork for future success! We have the honor of watching their small accomplishments grow into huge achievements. The courage and determination they gain through tutoring sessions affects every aspect of their lives and allows them to try scary things like college or trade school. When they believe in themselves, these kids have the power to change the world!
